RICK FLATH

Rick Flath is President and owner of Flath & Associates Consulting, Inc. Rick brings over 30 years of human resource expertise and is considered an expert in executive compensation and benefit programs and their impact in organizational strategies. Before starting Flath & Associates, Rick worked as a senior manager in the newspaper, banking, and insurance industries. He also served as a naval officer after college.

Rick's consulting practice involves him with top management and strategic planning sessions. Rick's clients range from senior management in major companies to small, growing, highly entrepreneurial organizations. He is also an author, lecturer, and contributor to numerous articles on human resource planning and implementation.

Rick received his B.A. in philosophy from Gettysburg College and his M.A. in organization development from the University of New Haven.

LYNNEA BRINKERHOFF

Former wilderness guide, small business owner, hospitality manager, sales and marketing exec Lynnea Brinkerhoff, is currently Vice President at Flath & Associates. She serves as trusted advisor and coach to those in personal and organizational transition.  Lynnea uses long and short-term interventions to enhance organizational effectiveness; develop strategic goals, clarify individual roles and improve interdepartmental relationships. She has a unique personal touch and employs a range of stress and energy management tools as a means of building autonomy, emotional maturity and alignment among varied stakeholders in business, non-profit and social venture projects.

Lynnea has written several relevant articles and recently authored a chapter on The Role of Individual Development within an Organizational Context in a seminal OD text. She is adjunct professor at the University of New Haven and visiting faculty at St. Claret's College, Bangalore, India. Lynnea was ordained as an Interfaith Minister at the One Spirit Learning Alliance in New York City, a founder of The Five Questions International Coaching Network, has a BA in International Business/French from Simmons College, Boston and an MS in Organization Development from Pepperdine University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Regenerative Sciences and Eco-psychology at the University of Lancaster, Cumbria, England. Her focus is on creating sustainable ecosystems that support a healthy relationship between nature and culture in a way that nurtures individual well-being and long term health.

SHEM COHEN

Shem Cohen is an organization development consultant who has assisted organizations such as the Federal Reserve Bank New York, the United Kingdom Mission to the United Nations, Church and Dwight, and Soros Fund Management to create exceptional organizational outcomes. Whether helping individuals and teams clarify and reach their goals or restructuring to improve processes and affecting planned change, Shem partners with clients to architect the experiences, dialogues and learning needed to create value. The methods he employs - founded in sound organization development principles - enables clients to generate the quality solutions and commitments required to achieve their desired levels of high performance.

Shem holds a Masters Degree in Organization Development from American University and NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science. He is a certified Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), trained Future Search consultant, and qualified facilitator/trainer in Dialogue through the Public Dialogue Consortium. He has more than fifteen years experience.

MICHAEL PERGOLA

Michael Pergola MA, MBA, JD, is a lawyer, business executive, facilitator, ordained interfaith minister and management consultant. As a long time student of culture change, individual development, behavioral science, and the world’s wisdom traditions, Michael has pursued personal mastery and an understanding of people, culture and creativity for over 30 years. He served six years as Chief Knowledge Officer for Risk at one of the largest banks in the United States, practiced law at Wilmer, Cutler and Pickering for nine years and has founded both business and non profit organizations. He has worked with many companies including: Honda, CIGNA, Tompson International, Li & Fung and a variety of government agencies. An honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Michael has a Masters in Interpersonal Dynamics from Penn, and a law degree and MBA from Cornell. He is trained in systems thinking, scenario planning, social network analysis, creativity and visioning, meditation, facilitation, conflict resolution, business process analysis, risk management, technology assessment, emotional intelligence, and biofeedback among others. Michael utilizes a wide variety of methods to design the best approach for each client in a way that is both personal and professional.
